Time to get out of our shell!

After almost one year out of the water it's time for us to share our upcoming projects with you.

Welcome to www.divosophy.com, a blog and platform to share our diving adventures!

“It was about time to get out of our shell” - a speaking hermit crab would say.

Indeed it's been almost one year since we've been out of the water and away from the daily hustle and bustle of running a dive liveaboard.

Part of this so-to-speak-sabbatical year we spent in our country of origin - it was the first time in almost 20 years for Reto to stay in Switzerland for more than just a few weeks of holidays. It was a rare opportunity to be close to our friends and family whilst planning our next moves. An added bonus of this extended surface interval back home was plainly and simply cheese.

Swiss time was very enjoyable - also due to other, not necessarily culinary, treats; however we still felt at times literally like fish out of water. We’ve always considered the time on dry land just being a temporary break from our natural element - the ocean - and our activity and passion - sharing it with people on dive boats.

Being away from our beloved underwater world allowed us to figure out, in exactly what way we want to carry on our adventure. To help us make up our minds, we’ve met with a lot of interesting people, traveled to many places, considered different options and had intense discussions. After a while feasible solutions started to take shape, and eventually - and thankfully for our hips – we found a way leading back to Sea!

Our website, blog, forum and soon to be small diving community - www.divosophy.com - is a result of this contemplation process and we are excited to finally come out with it. In addition to that we are delighted to announce that we will be heading back to dive into the water in just a few short weeks. More details about that to come soon!
